Dear Chavez Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope you’ve enjoyed a restful summer break. We are excited to welcome both new and returning students and families to another year of learning, growth, and community at Chavez School.

The fundamental purpose of our work is to ensure that every student learns at high levels, and we are fully committed to achieving this goal. As we embark on this journey together, we remain focused on providing standards-based instruction, fostering a positive school culture through PBIS/CHAMPS, supporting social-emotional learning, and strengthening our Professional Learning Communities with our teachers.

We believe that education is a partnership between the school and families, and we invite you to join us in supporting your child's educational journey. Your involvement is crucial in creating a positive and successful school experience for all our students.

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, August 15, the first day of school. Our team has already begun distributing classroom placements and schedules to all TK through eighth-grade families, and we are here to answer any questions you may have.

We are looking forward to building strong relationships with our students and families this year. Together, we can ensure that every student at Chavez is successful.
